Attention all students
Please note that from 1 June 2025, an Assessment Fee of $50 will apply for students who require more than five (5) attempts at any of the assessment tasks required for completion of a unit. This includes Chapter quizzes, knowledge assessment and practical assessments.
As per the excerpt below from the Terms and Conditions on our enrolment form, students are allowed three (3) attempts and we have the right to charge an Assessment Fee of $50 for each additional attempt. In the past we have been extremely lenient and rarely charged this fee.
Due to some students re-attempting without making changes or not following feedback from assessors, we have now decided to start charging this fee. We will however, only charge if a student has used up five (5) attempts and requires a sixth (6) attempt. In this case, the student will be suspended online until the fee has been paid.

Assessment Fees
Students are allowed three (3) attempts to complete each assessable item in a unit of competency. For example, a unit of competency may have 3 pieces of assessment and the student is allowed three (3) attempts at each piece of assessment.
If the student requires additional attempts the College of Health and Fitness reserves the right to charge an Assessment Fee of $50 for each additional attempt above the allowable three (3) attempts. The student shall be advised in writing of this decision.
If the College of Health and Fitness advises the student in writing that an Assessment Fee is payable and the student declines to pay the Assessment Fee, no further attempts at the assessment will be available and the student will be deemed to be Not Yet Competent.
Please contact the College via email, quickmail on the platform or phone if you would like clarification or further information.
